On saturday the 31st of january the invasion starts!
ØKA together with Malmö Hardcore has teamed up to
give you a night full of deep bass, crazy riffs, fast drums, wild
dancing and pure hardcore insanity.
On two floors we will give you the best of Malmös
underground.
In Dödsmaskinen some of the most furious bands from
Malmös punk scene will play. And in the big room ØKA
will bring you the best in Jungle/Drum&bass on their own custom
sound. All in all its gonna be a night to remember.
The two crews have joined forces because of their shared passion
for underground parties, the DIY movement and political
resemblance. We feel that the punk scene and the underground rave
movement have a lot of things in common and want to bring them
together to show that together we are strong!

Line up - Dödsmaskinen
One of Malmös most active, intense and energetic hardcore
bands right now. Imagine a lovechild between Puke / Accüsed /
RKL but with a healthy dose of everything parents dislike about
their children.
If you are an anti-fascist (duh), dislike auhtority and HATE your
boss you will love Knaegt. Dont forget to bring a helmet.
This is proper Malmö Hardcore Mangel with the signature
riffing of Åke. They´re
ripping shit up in the fine tradition of 80's Swedish rawpunk. If
you can't get enough of shit like Mob 47, Early Anti Cimex,
Asocial, Discard etc this is exactly the fix you need.
Three good words to describe this band is: Fast, fucked up and
furious.
Primitive Rites has been around for a while, and keeps cementing
the fact that they are one of the finest hardcore bands
around.
Check their new 7" 'Amount to nothing' that was released Adult
Crash. Its fucking great.
Discharge's "Realities Of War", Blitz' "All Out Attack" and
Negative Approach's "S/T"
Three records that might somewhat define what this new Malmö
band sounds like. But obviously they do a great job of blending
these sounds and have strong songs that stands apart from it's
influences. With a strong working class pride and songs that
already has become anthems, this is something to look out
for.
LET THUNDER ROAR.
With members from Hårda Tider, Beyond Pink, Svart
Städhjälp and Self Abuse, this is a rather spicy soup.
Swedish käng mixed with the best of NYHC - Antidote, Krakdown,
Life´s Blood... This is going to be their second show ever,
and we're expecting nothing less than total mayhem.
DJ'S - SMUTS MADS
+ 1 DJ TBA
Line up - the big stage
Dub-Liner´s sound can be described as heavy jungle with
deep rollin basses chopped amen breaks and lots of reggae
influences. With several releases on Lickshot, Satta SOunds and his
own label Jungle Cat he is one of the biggest name in amen-jungle
today and this is his first time in copenhagen. His mixing is tight
and ruthless so expect some mayhem on the dancefloor with lots of
specials, dubplates and rare tunes.
Omen Breaks uses a lot of 90´s Hip.Hop and his sound is
deep with a heavy BASS and chopped amen breaks ! Also from the
Jungle Cat crew and has released on jungle4jungle, Jungle Cat and
has recently started his own label Supercharger. An uprising star
on the Uk Junglescene with several releases coming up this year.
Expect a set full of Hip-Hop samples classics and unreleased
materials. Also his first time in Copenhagen.
Beastie Respond is a known DJ aswell as producer on the
electronic scene in Copenhagen and abroad. He describes his sound
as soulfull electronic music with attitude. We would say
minimalistic DnB with lots of halfstep deep bass and experimental
trippy sound. Has several releases on Teal records and has been
remixed by producers such as Blawan.
Born and raised in Stockholm, Annika now lives in Copenhagen and
has a huge passion for the dnb-scene in the Öresund region.
She has been playing several appreciated sets on ØKA nights
in Malmö. Her music can be described as tech-, minimal-,
intelligent- and newskool drum and bass.Expect a tight set with
alot of harmony and good vibes.
... AND THERE'S MORE!
Along with these artists. ØKA will fill in with their
residents Kungling, STRSR and Riddare, a stirred
mix of jungle, neurofunk, jumpup, techstep and total destruction.
These guys master the sound like pros and their fresh blend of 175
bpm music will tear the roof of Dortheavej 61.
